Welcome to SEAcomm!
Dr. Caroline Gottschalk Druschke directs an interdisciplinary group of researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Rhode Island working at the intersection of public engagement and natural resources management. Through a firm foundation in the study of rhetoric, we build critical theory and conduct social and ecological research and public outreach about migratory fish passage, wetlands restoration, brook trout conservation, watershed-based outreach, and coastal storm impacts. Our work aims to better understand and intervene in dynamic, multispecies aquatic systems.
